For many years, the Tilton-Northfield Rotary club held a Radio Auction. This event was started in the late 1970's when the economy was slow. The purpose of the Radio Auction is two-fold: to raise money for community projects, but also to help bring attention to the area merchants - shop local After almost 30 years, the club decided the Radio Auction had run its course and started a new fundraiser - a pet photo contest. In its first year, the Pet Photo contest raised over $4,000 and the winning photo was of Riley, a volunteer dog at the NH Veterans Home. Many thanks to Grace LaPlante and Janet Rosequist (WRSD Ag Center) for getting this new fundraiser off the ground. Thanks also to our many dedicated local sponsors and donors. It is only through their generosity that our club is able to raise money for use in our community. This money goes towards:
2010 RULES FOR ENTRY: Enter your favorite photo in one of the six categories. There is a $10 fee per photo which includes 2 votes per photo. Or, $20 fee per photo which includes 15 votes. PHOTOS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Photos should be no larger than 4” x 6”. Please include your name and pet’s name on the back of each photo and the category the photo is being entered in.
All
photos must be received no later than March 14.
· Voting begins on-line www.tnrotary.org on March 15 and ends at noon on April 5 at noon.

person at the WRSD Annual Meeting, March 20, Tilton House of Pizza March 26 from
6-9 P.M., · Votes are $1 each.
PRIZES: First place prizes will be awarded in each category. BEST IN SHOW will be awarded to the photo receiving the most votes overall, and will receive a 2-night stay* at the Highland Lake Inn, Andover, NH and an 11x14 pet portrait donated by Ann O’Leary. *Certain restrictions apply |
